Prospective buyers for Port Erin's Marine Biological Centre are limited.
That's according to the Economic Development Minister - who says the time limit on expressions of interest has been extended.
In August last year proposals to turn the site into a Marine Interpretation Centre were blocked by the planning inspector and the Council of Ministers.
Since March there have been tenants interested in the site - but the department is looking for a developer to take it on.
