Minister disputes Foodbank increase claim

The Treasury Minister says he's seen no evidence to suggest the number of people visiting the Island's Foodbank has increased.

In the House of Keys today Eddie Teare was asked to explain the reported increase - he said he couldn't but denied it was due to government policies.

The Foodbank was set up in 2013 for those in crisis - Eddie Teare says any issues have to be looked at in a wider context.
