Plans for a new mental health facility have had to factor in the ever increasing aging population.
The existing Grianagh Court facility, which was built in the early nineties, is currently operating at maximum capacity and has done for several years.
Later this month Tynwald will be asked to approve £7.2 million for a larger unit to be housed on the Noble's Hospital campus site.
