The Villa Marina and Gaiety Theatre complex could soon be run by a private sector company.
Expressions of interest will be sought to outsource operations for both government-owned venues from June.
Economic Development Minister Laurence Skelly has said his department is looking to test the market as a result of recommendations published in the 'Scope of Government' report.
Finding a successful candidate to take responsibility for the Villa Gaiety complex would reduce the financial contribution currently being made by taxpayers.
