Hoax 999 calls made in south

Police are urging young people not to make hoax 999 calls.

Last night there were more than 10 prank calls made from phone boxes in Port Erin and Castletown.

Officers are now asking parents to speak to their children to ensure they are aware of the consequences of tying up an emergency line.
