The Chief Minister is defending spending a quarter of a million pounds on consultants who are exploring the potential of creating a global TT Series.
It comes after the Department of Economic Development confirmed there will be no definitive update on plans until October.
As it stands the Sports Consultancy is seeking expressions of interest from countries that could host a TT series stage.
