Government adds money to Nepal fund

Government has pledged £100,000 in support of international efforts to send emergency aid to the Nepalese people.
More than 6,000 people have died and many more are injured following a 7.8 magnitude earthquake - 5.3 million people have been affected.
Survivors desperately need medical help, food, water and shelter.
The International Development Committee is responding to the UK Disaster Emergency Committee's call to assist in the recovery.
