There will be no British Cycling Championship on the Island next year but the Isle of Man Cycling Association is optimistic for the future.
Despite a strong bid, and making the final two, we lost to Stockton-On-Tees - an area that's recently held National Series events.
Feedback suggests the Island now needs to focus on securing a similar British cycling series if it wants to contend for future championship events.
