The Island's deaf community will benefit from a new sign-language interpretation service.
The online service will operate by video link - connecting to a live language interpreter over a computer webcam or on a tablet device.
The Department of Health and Social Care says this will save around £1,000 on consultant visits and improve the delivery of care at Noble's Hospital.
