The Isle of Man Constabulary is celebrating the man who established the Police Youth Scheme.
Constable Michael Griffiths was awarded with the R.K. Eason Trophy at the Chief Constable's Annual Award Ceremony - which took place at the Villa Marina this week.
Constable Griffiths is driving force behind a scheme giving 15 cadets aged between 16 and 18 the chance to see what it's like to work in the force.
He says there are others who should be recognised for their efforts:
