Prisoners at the Isle of Man Prison assaulted staff seven times in the last year.
That's according to new figures released by the Department of Home Affairs showing assaults by inmates on each other and on officers.
Between April 1st 2014 and February 28th this year there were two prisoner on prisoner assaults - a drop from six the year before.
The statistics showed January 2012 to March 2013 was the most volatile period in the last five years with 15 attacks on staff and 18 on other prisoners.
