New speed limit for Onchan after concerns

Motorists in Onchan will have to slow down - a new "Home Zone" is being introduced.

It follows concerns over traffic management on Main Road and around Onchan School, on School Road, in particular.

Campaigners have called for the introduction of traffic calming measures after a 10-year-old boy was almost hit whilst crossing the road in March.

Infrastructure Minister Phil Gawne confirmed the "good news" in Tynwald today:
