Candidates must declare by-election intentions

Potential candidates for the upcoming by-elections in Douglas must declare their intention to stand today.

There is one seat in both the Douglas South and Douglas North constituencies - these were vacated by the MHKs moving to the Legislative Council.

A number of candidates have already declared their interest in the positions.

The election will take place on May 21st.
