The Isle of Man is now the only nation in the Northern Hemisphere not operating within the Crown Post Office network.
That's the concern voiced by Communication Workers' Union national official Terry Pullinger.
It follows news that two crown post offices in Douglas and Ramsey will now be outsourced to cut costs.
The Douglas office is to become a SPAR sub-office and Ramsey's operation will be managed by Ramsey Courthouse Ltd.
