Try not to touch young lost or misplaced wild animals, keep an eye out for its mother and call the ManxSPCA.
That's the advice being dished out by Margaret Mansfield, who works at the charity.
It follows the find of a baby wallaby in the north of the Island this week by a member of the public.
'Joey' is about three weeks old and in a fragile state after being either rejected or misplaced by her mother.
