Chief and private sector representatives head to China

The Chief Minister has joined private-sector representatives in a trip to China this week.

Presentations and meetings are being held in Bejing, Tianjin, Shanghai and Wuxi next week to bolster existing relationships with its political and business leaders.

Last year's visit to the world's second largest economy raised the Isle of Man's profile and generated new opportunities for Manx-based business.

The Island is being promoted as the ideal platform for Chinese business expanding into Europe.
