Noble's Hospital neonatal unit opens its doors

Project contractors and staff in the new facility at Noble's Hospital

A new £4 million neonatal unit opened its doors to the public at Noble's Hospital yesterday.

Works started on the new facility in June 2013 - which is set to offer a high standard of care for premature and critically ill babies.

It adjoins the Jane Crookall maternity unit to offer more space for specialist care provision.

Delivered on time and budget - it's the first major extension to the hospital since it opened in 2003.
