A conference will raise the many benefits that outdoor play can have for a child's development today.
The initiative has been co-ordinated by a group of second year public health degree students - based at the college.
An estimated 60 guests will hear from a number of speakers, including; 'out to play' champion Chris Gregory, and Kirsty Neat from the Manx National Heritage.
We spoke to one of the student organisers, Jennifer Quaggan; she told us how diminishing numbers of children 'playing out' will impact their development:
