Two children were rescued from cliffs in Douglas yesterday after being cut off by the tide.
Douglas Coastguard was called out to Happy Valley, at the north end of Douglas Bay, just after 4pm.
Crew members climbed along the foot of the cliff to lead one girl to safety - the other had to be rescued by an officer who descended the 150ft drop and recovered her back to the top.
Neither child was injured - one of the girl's parents has taken to Facebook to publically thank the coastguard for the assistance describing the team as "super professional and very supportive".
