Repair work to the Manannan is progressing as anticipated - but it's still not been confirmed if the boat will sail tomorrow.
That's according to the Steam Packet Company which says the work is a "long and difficult process" involving mechanical, electrical and hydraulic linkages.
Rebuilding work on the two damaged water jets and trim tab is on-going - these were craned into place overnight.
A specialist diving and engineer team has begun to re-connect them to the ship.
Control systems will need to be calibrated and all systems checked to see if they are responding as required - the boat will then be taken on sea trials.
