Nine jobs at the Isle of Man Post Office could be at risk if there is a delay in relocating the Ramsey and Douglas post offices.
It follows a deadline for the 19 affected staff, and local authorities in both towns, to present alternative suggestions.
The nine employees could be made redundant - the remaining staff have accepted other positions within the organisation.
Chairman Graham Cregeen says he can't guarantee there won't be repercussions if things take too long:
