Post Office receives one proposal for office conversions

The Isle of Man Post Office is in receipt of one proposal and a submission to delay the conversion of Douglas and Ramsey post offices.

This week saw the deadline for 19 staff affected by the changes and both local authorities to present alternative suggestions.

The Communication Workers Union has called for a six-month deferment to continue discussions.

10 members of staff have accepted alternative positions.
