Military veterans on the Island are being enlisted to get involved with the VE Day commemorations planned for London.
It will mark the 70th anniversary of the end of the Second World War - with veterans asked to share their stories and help keep the memory of the conflict alive.
Travel costs will be provided for any veterans able to attend the service of remembrance at the Cenotaph on May 8th, or the service of thanksgiving at Westminster Abbey on May 10th.
