Blackpool air link reinstated

After six months of inactivity the flight route linking the Island and Blackpool is to be reinstated.

The airport closed suddenly last October but following negotiations with Blackpool, Citywing has confirmed that they will be relaunching the popular route from April 1st.

Blackpool has always been a popular destination for Island tourists; it also acts as a gateway to the rest of the North West.
