School closures will signal Manx language set back

The future of the Manx language has been set back as two nurseries supporting its development are set to close.
Mooinjer Veggey had established four nurseries in total - in Ballasalla, Braddan, Ballacottier and Ashley Hill primary schools.
Due to rising costs the latter two will be discontinued from September.
Chairman Phil Gawne says the way government support is awarded has changed and this has proved problematic:
