Local food producers reminded of labelling requirements

Local businesses are being reminded of changes to food labelling legislation.

In December last year, new rules came into force affecting how food allergen information is pictured on Manx produce.

It means consumers must be provided with information concerning any one of 14 allergenic ingredients in food either verbally or on the product packaging.
