Police rescue woman from Douglas harbour

Police are currently trying to establish how a woman ended up in the Douglas harbour over the weekend.

Emergency services were called to the Douglas Marina at 1:40am on Sunday to reports that a female had entered the water.

She was rescued by the police officers and transferred to Nobles Hospital by ambulance, no update on her condition has as yet been given.

The police say they want to speak to anyone who might have been in he area at the time and witnessed what happened.
