Manx athletes could be disadvantaged by a decision to hold a future Commonwealth Games in Durban.
That's the opinion of the Isle of Man Commonwealth Games Association ahead of the 2022 fixture.
The South African city was the only place to bid for the games.
They have stated however that will not be building a Velodrome facility, ruling out any track cycling events, commonly the Island's strongest medal prospect.
The team behind the Durban bid also ruled out an additional facility to cater for gymnastics.
