Legislation which should promote transparency and integrity during elections will go before the House of Keys tomorrow.
Government wants to update the current law which governs elections - it follows public consultation on the matter last year.
The amended Representation of the People Bill includes proposals from an independent review following the Douglas East by-election scandal in 2010.
New proposals include requiring candidates and political parties to declare donations, placing a limit on campaign expenses and imposing further restrictions on proxy voting.
A registration system for political parties could also be introduced.
