Greater government efficiency will be realised if CoMin works as a team alongside the new Minister for Policy and Reform.

That's the message from the Treasury Minister - who says the former Economic Development Minister is proving he's the best man for the job.

After a period of time working under ex-Minister Chris Robertshaw, John Shimmin is continuing in his new capacity - attempting to solve benefits and pensions reform conundrums.
