The short term future of the town and village regeneration fund has been assured with a timely cash injection announced in last week's budget.
The initial £8 million pot established at the start of the scheme is running out, with more funds needed to enable approved works to start.
The scheme has seen major improvements made to the Island's towns; Ramsey in particular has reported an upturn in town trade and footfall.
