DHA downsizes its estate to drive budget savings

Home Affairs has committed to continue reducing its operating costs in 2015/16.

That's the message from the department's finance and corporate projects director Simon Jackson, who says its estate will play a key role in driving additional savings of £692,000.

That includes the proposed relocation of services and employees to the former Water and Sewerage Authority building in Tromode.

If approved, it the move would free up its current corporate headquarters on Woodbourne Road - which would go up for sale.
