Budget gets Tynwald backing

The Budget for the next financial year has been officially accepted by Tynwald.

Yesterday the Treasury Minister spent hours persuading his political colleagues to back the document.

Eddie Teare described it as the most adventurous budget in recent years.

Just three MHKs voted against the plan - with everyone else giving their support.
