Four men from England who are accused of kidnap have been committed to stand trial on the Isle of Man.
Abdul Ahad, Muhammed Khan, Amman Sohail and Zishaan Sharif appeared in court yesterday for committal proceedings to take place.
The men, who are aged between 19 and 24, and from Burnley and Bradford, have yet to enter pleas to the offence.
It's alleged they travelled to the Island on October 31st last year to try and force another man to travel back to Heysham against his will.
The alleged victim alerted police at the Sea Terminal as they were about to board the boat - all four men were arrested and have been on remand at the Isle of Man Prison since.
Deputy High Bailiff Jayne Hughes yesterday ruled there was a case to answer and committed proceedings to the Court of General Gaol Delivery to a date to be fixed.
