The Council of Ministers has responded to Chris Robertshaw's resignation from his ministerial post.
The Douglas East MHK had served as the Minister for Policy and Reform since last April - he had previously served as Social Care Minister.
He cited a lack of confidence in government for his decision.
With the Chief Minister currently on leave his stand-in Eddie Teare has commented on behalf of CoMIN saying ministers are saddened and disappointed but respect his decision.
He says they remain committed to the Agenda for Change and a replacement will be appointed soon.
