Two women cut from car following collision last night

Two females have been left hospitalised following a road traffic collision on the Ballamodha road yesterday.

The single vehicle incident saw emergency services in attendance with Fire Crews using cutting equipment to extract the two occupants of the car.

They were given initial checks by Ambulance crews before being transported to the hospital for further assessments and treatment of their injuries.

The stretch of road between Cross Four Ways and the A34 junction was closed for three hours before reopening shortly before midnight.
