Calls for information to be better protected

Is the public sector sharing personal information on people receiving social security benefits?

That's the query the Speaker of the House of Keys will direct at the Treasury Minister in Tynwald next week.

Steve Rodan wants to know whether or not there are plans to provide the data to other government entities including respective departments, local authorities and registered charities.

He says the information is precious and should be properly respected:
