Radars at Ronaldsway Airport still haven't been approved fully by the UK Civil Aviation Authority.
That's despite government paying almost £3 million to the contractor Selex which is carrying out work on them.
The secondary radar - which has been operating on an "extraordinary licence" - keeps failing and requires a new antenna to keep working.
The primary radar which is being used is also undergoing maintenance to keep it working.
