Fishing boat rescued by lifeboat

Two fishermen had to be rescued by Douglas Lifeboat on Saturday when their boat suffered a damaged propeller.

It was launched just after 5.30pm to go to the aid of the vessel which was around one mile off Port Soderick.

The propeller had been damaged by debris in the sea.

The lifeboat towed the boat back into Douglas and was ready for service again just one hour later.
