Public support for assisted dying on Island

Island residents are in support of assisted suicide being introduced here - but with pre-requisites.

We hit the streets in Douglas to gather opinion on a bill that was binned earlier this week - the House of Keys voted against introducing new legislation to make it legal.

Rushen MHK Juan Watterson brought the issue forward  - he said he was sorely "disappointed" when members rejected it by 17 to five.
