A 23-year-old man has pleaded guilty to two counts of ABH after punching and kicking a woman's front teeth out.
Jamie Mcardle, of no fixed address, appeared at Douglas Courthouse this week admitting four charges including criminal damage and possession of cannabis.
The court heard how he had gone to a house in Onchan at around 1am on January 11th after socialising with two female friends in a local pub.
However an argument broke out when he believed some money had been taken and he was asked to leave - Mcardle reacted by producing a knuckle duster and smashing the window.
He climbed through it before one of the women tried to eject him from the house through the front door - he then pulled her to the floor kicking and punching her.
Her friend, who tried to intervene, was also pushed to the floor by Mcardle who kicked her in the face causing her to lose two teeth.
The case has been adjourned until February 10th - there was no application for bail and Mcardle remains remanded in prison until his next appearance.
