Remain vigilant despite lull in burglaries say police
Mon, 26 Jan 2015
Residents have been told to “keep the information flowing” despite an apparent lull in the Island’s burglary problem.
No domestic burglaries were reported over the weekend leaving the total number of reported incidents, since January 9th, at 39.
However officers say it’s important that people remain vigilant and remain security conscious.
They say when criminals know a community is actively contributing to a police investigation they are less likely to commit offences.
