A Ballaugh man who has been charged with the manslaughter of his daughter has had his case adjourned until March.
45-year-old Raymond French appeared at Douglas Courthouse on Friday where the adjournment was requested.
He is yet to enter pleas on three counts - including causing death by dangerous driving and causing serious bodily harm by dangerous driving.
It relates to a fatal car crash near Ballakaighan Corner on October 5th 2013, between his car and a bus, in which his 10-year-old daughter Alexis died.
The court heard how an expert has been instructed and needs to travel to the Island to finalise his reports.
The case has been adjourned until Friday, March 6th - Mr French was bailed in the meantime.
