Fourteen hardy souls lined up for the third round of Ayre Clay Target Club’s winter DTL League competition in cold and breezy conditions at Blue Point on Sunday.
There was a three way tie for the lead at the halfway stage of the 50 target competition between Kevin Oates, Ted Kermeen and Mark Riley, all scoring 69 points from a possible 75. Marty Kneen was two points behind on 67 with Dave Corlett on 65.
Oates took the win after the second 25, scoring 67 for a total of 136. Kermeen was second on 132 with Mark Riley taking third on 130.

This week’s competition is a 50 target English Sporting shoot. There will be a work party on Saturday afternoon to set up for this. We are also expecting a clay delivery on Saturday morning. Please contact a committee member if you can help with either of these.
