Emergency services were out in force last night responding to a road traffic collision on the Peel to Kirk Michael coast road.
The incident involved a single car with one male occupant; the car left the road coming to rest on its roof in a stream.
It happened at 8.20pm just north of the Devils Elbow.
The driver was able to call emergency services and make them aware of the situation, with fire crews, ambulance and a special off road vehicle deployed to the scene.
After the Peel and Kirk Michael crews removed the man from the car he was transported to the waiting ambulance using a specialist six wheeled drive vehicle.
No further update has been given on the condition of the driver.
