Kidnap accused appear in court

Four men from England who are charged with kidnap have appeared in court via live video link from the Isle of Man Prison.

Abdul Ahad, who is from Burnley, and Muhammed Khan, Amman Sohail and Zishaan Sharif, who are from Bradford, were called for mention yesterday.

It's ahead of committal proceedings which will take place in person at Douglas Courthouse next Monday.

The four men, who are aged between 19 and 24, are accused of trying to kidnap another man after travelling to the Island on October 31st last year.

They are currently remanded in custody - advocates made no applications for bail.
