Plea from Crimestoppers to shop burglars anonymously

People are being urged to shop those responsible for the current burglary problem - anonymously.

Crimestoppers says information can be passed through to the police on its confidential hotline.

Since Friday, January 9th, there have been 21 burglaries, and attempted burglaries, with reports of break-ins in Douglas, Onchan and the south and west.

Anyone who has information, but who doesn't wish to speak to the police, can call and speak to an operator in the UK - the number is 0800 555111.
