Police warn against fly-tipping

Fly-tipping in Colby is not only an "eyesore" but has caused a landowner a "big headache".

That's the message from police who are trying to find out who discarded three sofas and a tent on private land near to the Colby Glen.

Police say it was likely the items were used as part of a New Year Eve party as they appeared around that time.

Officers say the size and weight of the items, and the remoteness of the location, means it would have taken a number of people to carry them.
