All Wednesday's sailings cancelled

Severe gales expected to hit the Island later today have forced the cancellations of all the day's Steam Packet crossings.

The daytime sailings were cancelled this morning - and a decision has also been made to cancel the evening crossing and the return journey in the early hours of tomorrow morning.

There is also doubt as to whether or not tomorrow's sailings from the Island will depart to schedule.

A further update is expected by 7am tomorrow morning.
