A Douglas man currently awaiting trial for affray has appeared back in court to answer a fresh charge.
24-year-old Christopher Seed entered a not guilty plea for common assault on a female - allegedly carried out on November 22nd outside an address in Douglas.
Seed is currently awaiting trial after an incident from August when he was alleged to have become verbally abusive to police when they entered his property following a noise complaint.
He then picked up a sledgehammer and raised it over his head - although his advocate previously told the court at no point did he move the object towards police.
His trial date is yet to be set but he will next appear in court on January 27th.
